Subscribing to an RSS feed sounds like a daunting task, to those who aren’t particularly internet savvy, you may not know what on earth I’m going on about, so let me break it down for you.
To make our podcast we need two things, our music files (our mp3 mixes), and a file with a load of code in it, but this isn’t just any code, its a piece of script that tells certain programs what to do with our mp3 files.
Now there is a few things you can do with this code, but normally its used in two ways, with your browser to view the code as a web page with links to our mp3 files in it, or (heres the better way) you can use it with podcatching software such as iTunes which will check the code for our updates and download the latest mix for you, cleaver stuff right?
still not making sense? or want to read more? check out what wikipedia has to say on the matter
